Effective date: April 18, 2026
By using Jottle — including the Chrome extension and web dashboard at jottle.app — you agree to these terms. Please read them.
Jottle is a thought-capture tool. You use the Chrome extension to quickly save notes, tasks, and ideas. The dashboard lets you review and organize them. AI processing (via Anthropic's Claude) automatically titles, cleans up, and categorizes each entry.
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You may not share your account or use Jottle on behalf of others without their consent.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Jottle.
Free accounts can store up to 25 jottles in total (active and archived combined). This is a cap on total stored entries, not a monthly limit. When you reach the cap, you will need to delete existing jottles before adding new ones, or upgrade to a paid plan.
The free tier is provided as-is. We reserve the right to modify free tier limits in the future with reasonable notice.
For a limited time, Jottle is offering lifetime access for a one-time payment of $9.99. This offer is available until May 1, 2026 at 11:59 PM UTC, after which it will no longer be available.
Lifetime access means unlimited jottles and access to all current and future features for as long as Jottle operates. In the unlikely event that Jottle shuts down, no refund is owed beyond what is required by applicable law.
The early adopter offer is non-transferable and limited to one purchase per account.
After the early adopter window closes, paid access will be available as a monthly subscription at $4.99/month. Subscriptions are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
We offer a 7-day refund on the early adopter lifetime purchase if you're not satisfied, no questions asked. For monthly subscriptions, refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. To request a refund, email hello@jottle.app.
You own the thoughts, notes, and ideas you capture in Jottle. You grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely to operate the service — including sending it to Anthropic's API for AI processing.
You are responsible for the content you capture. Do not use Jottle to store content that is illegal, harmful, or that violates the rights of others.
You agree not to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
We aim to keep Jottle available and running well, but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss of data or disruption to your workflow caused by downtime or bugs.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jottle's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10, whichever is greater.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Jottle after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Jottle operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
